Accra based radio station XFM has been taken over by TV3 Network in a deal said to be worth almost two million dollars.

Pulse.com.gh understands that the owner of the station, Herbert Mensah has agreed to sell the radio station  which he started in 2009 after it failed to take off as a competitor to Citi Fm and Joy Fm and has lost almost all of its stellar staff like Jon Germain and Eddie Blay to competitors .

Pulse.com.gh also understands that the takeover by TV3 Network is the  beginning of expansion by the station into radio and also the print business.

Herbert Mensah was not immediately available for comment when Pulse.com.gh reached him.
