Patrick Timbilla was interdicted following a recruitment scam into the police service in February 2015.

Dozens of young men and women turned up at various police offices in the country to enlist for the service only for them to be told that the letters they were holding was fake.

The letters the prospecting officers of the law had with them had the signature of Mr Timbilla hence his interdiction in the investigation that followed. The taskforce set up to look into the matter investigated three officers and 11 civilians.
