Soldier 32, defiles 7-year-old

In the afternoon of November 28, 2017, the victim was going to play when the soldier met her. He then blindfolded the girl with a handkerchief and took her to his room and had sex with her.

Kumbo who is facing a charge of defiling a minor pleaded not guilty.

His lawyer prayed the court to grant him bail since he had an alibi in the whole case.

But the court, presided over Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku, argued that Kumbo would interfere with investigations of the alibi when granted bail.
