The Volta Regional Police Command has arrested a health worker and a National Service person for allegedly forging the signature of the Regional Health Director.

The health worker Panidas Fordjour, and Bright Paul Yebbi were working in the Human Resource Department of the service.
The 2 allegedly forged the signature of the Regional Director of Health Services, Dr Joseph Teye Nuertey on release letters for nurses and midwives involving GH¢1,440.00.
Speaking to the media the Regional Police Commander Nana Asomah Hinneh, said Yebbi confessed to the crime.

He admitted that Fordjour helped him to facilitate the release.
Their activities came to light when Dr Nuertey denied appending his signature to release letters during the period of investigation.
