A man has been lynched by a mob at Zanguvugu in Walewale on Sunday after he allegedly killed his relative with a cutlass.
Police have confirmed the incident and said investigations are ongoing as the bodies of the two are currently undergoing autopsy examination at the Walewale hospital.
Sources told Accra-based Starr FM that the suspect, named Gafaru Amadu Gafaru was a mentally-ill patient who had always threatened to kill the victim, Ibrahim.

On Sunday afternoon, Gafaru allegedly succeeded in doing so as he attacked his relative, Ibrahim on his farm with a cutlass.
An eyewitness at the scene alerted residents. A group of men later arrived at the scene and also attacked Gafaru and tied him up to a tree. The attackers were said to have fled leaving the two victims.
The West Mamprusi District Police Commander, DSP Sarpong Aboagye said his team rushed to the scene when they were alerted, and found Ibrahim lying on a dusty floor with blood oozing from his neck.

He said Gafaru was tied to a tree with severe machete injuries and looked unconscious.
He was rescued by the police but died on the way to the hospital, the Police Commander said.
