Lance Corporal Dickson Ankomah who was bodyguard to the former deputy Northern Regional Minister in the Kufuor administration and current deputy minister of Energy Mohammed Amin Adam said he will join any group that will be willing to provide him daily bread.
He was dismissed from the police service over alleged misconduct after knocking down a pedestrian with the Police dispatch motor bike on his way from Nkawkaw to Kumasi at a spot near Yawkwei community.
He said the incident occurred in 2008 adding that efforts for him to be reinstated proved futile.
He has, however, called on the leadership of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) David Asante Apeatu and Interior Minister Ambrose Dery to intervene and ensure that he is given a fair hearing and reinstated.
