Wontumi dares Kwabena Agyepong to sue him; says he won't apologise

Bernard Antwi-Boasiako reportedly indicated that Mr Agyepong was used by the then governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) last year for their own gains.

Bernard Antwi-Boasiako reportedly told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM Tuesday that Mr Agyepong was used by the then governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) last year for their own gains.

According to him, the suspended General Secretary received a plush vehicle from Ibrahim Mahama, brother of former President John Mahama, to do the bidding of the NDC.

Mr Agyepong has since described the statements as scandalous, saying that his reputation has been damaged.

In a letter dated October 30, lawyers of the suspended General Secretary demanded a retraction and apology from Wontumi for the “defamatory and false statements” he made.

But Chairman Wontumi on Wednesday repeated the same allegation, saying he is ready for any court action.

He even stated that he will mock Mr Agyepong if he does not take the legal action against him.
