Naa Torshie who doubles as the District Assemblies Common Fund Administrator tied the knot over the weekend at the Accra Ridge Church near the Efua Sutherland Children's Park.

The lucky man walked down the aisle with the affable female politician.

Electoral Commissioner Mrs Charlotte Osei, former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection Nana Oye Lithur, Minister for Communication Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful were present at the wedding ceremony.

Election loss

Irene Naa Torshie Addo bid farewell to Parliament in 2016, having lost the primaries to incumbent deputy minister of Trades and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah.

Carlospolled 502 votes as against Torshie's 273 to represent the NPP in the Tema West constituency.
