"The reason why this and other disasters will occur is that, some evil men who are spiritually strong want the president to fail. They have planned to disgrace him and spiritually these are the plans they are going to roll out to tarnish his image," he said on Accra-based Rainbow radio.

He said Nana Addo is destined to rule Ghana for a longer period but the appointees are plotting disasters and other serious challenges if not averted through fervent prayers will see him exit in elections 2020.
"They are competing among themselves with some yearning for his place. Some want to take over his position and others believe he is not contesting again so they want to take over from him. If God does not intervene, we will face very serious challenges as a country."
"He [President Akufo-Addo] will work by the end of the four year term but it will not be an easy task. Ghanaians should work hard and pray fervently to prevent all these evil machinations," he added.
Meanwhile, a Kumasi-based prophet of the General Overseer of God’s Crown Chapel, Prophet Reindolph Oduro Gyebi also predicted that members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should brace themselves for confusion warning them to seek God’s intervention.

He said "NPP must pray earnestly for their party as the devil has set the spirit of confusion among them spiritually which will soon be manifested and eventually lead to their downfall.
