The Sunyani Divisional Police Command has begun investigations into the death of three mentally challenged men in the early hours of last Saturday.

The bodies of the three were found in front of a shop at Kotokrom, Newtown Abonsuam and Sunyani Zongo in the municipality.
Some residents have told the Daily Graphic that they suspect that the three might have been killed by “sakawa boys” for money ritual.

They said that some parts of the bodies of the deceased, including their tongues, were removed.
Meanwhile, the Sunyani Divisional Police Commander, Superintendent Augustine Luguyare, has described the incident as the first of its kind in the municipality.
He further called on persons who have information to volunteer them to enable the police to arrest those behind the act.
