Why Adam Kwarasey and two others axed from squad for Ethiopia clash

Two Danish based players and a USA based played who were part of the Kwesi Appiah's 30-man squad for Ghana's clash against Ethiopia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers have been excluded for various reasons.

Michael Abu will however join the Black Stars for their friendly against Mexico in Texas on June 28, before facing USA on July 1 in in Connecticut.

Meanwhile Kwesi Appiah has handed a late call-up to David Accam who was not part of the original squad for the Black Stars double header against Mexico and USA.

The AFCON qualifier against Ethiopia has been scheduled for Sunday June 11 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The team will travel to the United States two weeks later as the Black Stars will face Mexico in Houston, Texas on June 28 and the USA in Connecticut on July 1.
