Ghanaians react to Black Stars failure to qualify for World Cup
The Black Stars failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup for the first time in four consecutive outings after Egypt defeated Congo on Sunday.

Ghana who were on six points prior to the match day 5 of the World Cup qualifiers needed to beat Uganda in Kampala, while expecting Congo to at least get a draw against Egypt.
However, they drew goalless against Uganda in a controversial manner, whereas Mohammed Salah’s late minute penalty handed Egypt a 2-1 win and eventually qualified them for their first FIFA World Cup since 1990.
Several Ghanaian were happy for the Black Stars failure to book a place in Russia and this is how they expressed it.
