These African countries have qualified for World Cup

Nigeria and Egypt are the only African nations that have qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia

Nigeria were the first African side to qualify for the FIFA World Cup after they defeated Zambia 1-2, while Egypt needed a late minute penalty to beat Congo in Alexandria to make qualification certain.

This is going to be Nigeria’s 6th appearance at the Mundial, having previously qualified for 1994, 1998, 2002, 2010 and 2014

Egypt will also be making their first FIFA World Cup appearance since 1990.
