Ghana Premier league champions Aduana Stars and MTN FA Cup winners Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to play a curtain raiser for the upcoming season.
The two teams emerged with two major trophies at the end of 2016/2017 Ghana Football season are to represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup respectively.

The venue for the Super Cup is yet to be confirmed but this will be a game to test the waters for both clubs going into next season.
The Ghana Premier League according the three season calendar released by the Ghana Football Association will commence on 11th January,2018 and end on 5th, August,2018.
Aduana Stars are drawn up against Libyan side Al Tahadi wheres Kumasi Asante Kotoko will play Club Athletique Renaissance Algion of Congo.
Aduana will be making their second appearance in the CAF Champions League.
Kotoko will be making their 3rd appearances in the Confederations after losing the finals in 2004.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko also exited the group stages in the 2008 edition.
