Andre Ayew finishes 2017 as West Ham's top scorer in Premier League

The Ghana forward happens to be West Ham’s top scorer in the Premier League for 2017 despite a torrid calender year.

2017 will be one of the years to forget for Andre Ayew. The Ghana and West Ham United forward went through a bad form in the 2016/2017 season of the English Premier League and was not himself either at the 2017 African Cup of Nations.

However, Andre Ayew managed to end 2017 as the player with the most goals in the Premier League for the Hammers, scoring 8 goals.

Andre Ayew after being the record signing for West Ham in the 2016 summer window did not really live up to the billing last season and that has not changed so far this season.

Andre Ayew has three league goals to his credit but has not got enough playing time since manager David Moyes took over from Slaven Bilic.

West Ham currently lie 16th on the English Premier League log with 21 points after a dramatic 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion where Andre Ayew had to warm the bench.
