Baba Rahman will not have a second surgery for his injury
Rahman confirmed not to be required of a second knee injury as it was earlier stated by Schalke 04's sporting director

The defender got injured in the 2017 African Cup of Nations game against Uganda. The young player has not featured for both club and country ever since.
Reports earlier suggested that Chelsea were to call off Rahman’s move away from the club due to his injury. The English Champions have also not signed any backup or competition for left wing back Marcos Alonso.
In this very development the Sporting Director of one of Rahman’s suitors Schalke 04 Christian Heidel claimed on Monday that the deal was being held off because Baba Rahman will have to undergo another surgery to recover.
However, a reliable correspondent at Chelsea Nizaar Kinsella came on to reply on his twitter handle that “Baba Rahman does not require any new surgery, despite what Schalke's Christian Heidel said recently. Staying at #CFC to get fit.
This definitely serves as great news for Ghanaians and Chelsea who should hope to see Rahman back in the fold for the Blues in this coming season as he embarks on the road to full recovery.
Baba Abdul Rahman transferred to Chelsea for £14 million from German side Augsburg in 2015 and made 15 appearances for the London Club. Rahman went to Schalke 04 on loan where he made 13 appearances but with Sead Kolasinac off to Arsenal for free the Gelsenkirchen based side were hoping to have Rahman as a replacement on permanent basis.
The left back has his roots in Dreams FC in Ghana and had a stint with Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
