Blame George Afriyie for our rift, Kwesi Nyantakyi shifts blame

The GFA president says it is rather his vice that had a problem with him.

According to him, the fact that he has worked with four different deputies in his 12-year reign is not enough evidence to prove that he is a divisive person.

Nyantakyi was recently reported to have been in conflict with current GFA vice president George Afriyie, following some misunderstandings concerning the running football in the country.

However, despite confirming that their dispute has been resolved, Nyantakyi insists he was not to blame for the rift, rather laying the blame on the doorstep of his vice.

“The current vice president [George Afriyie], I don't have a problem with him, he had problems with me and I have not told him I have a problem with him, the issues came up and we have resolved them,” he said on the UpFront Show on Joy News.
