The ball playing defender was on top of his game. Sarfo initiated the attack of Liberty Professionals by moving deep to help search for goals and also ensured his recovery rate was high.
He was adjudged the man of the match for helping Liberty Professionals pip AshGold.
Nasiru Moro
He dictated play in the midfield with his tackles, ball control and accurate passes to split the defence of Ebusua Dwarfs.
Winful Cobbinah
The Black Stars newbie was the orchestra of the Hearts of Oak team. He maintained possession by holding on to the ball without losing it to his opponent on countless occasions. His passes and ball control were accurate on the day. Cobbinah engineered the second goal scored by Kwame Kizito when he put Patrick Razak through before the latter’s shot was saved, but Kizito scored from the rebound.
Thomas Abbey
The Hearts of Oak skipper put up a man of the match display to propel the Phobians to a 3-1 win against Tema Youth. He scored twice on the day and his second was an eye-pleasing one-he dribbled past three players before slotting the ball home. He is now on 12 goals, making him tied with Amed Toure as joint leading top scorers.
Stephen Amankona
He was the heartbeat of the Berekum Chelsea team. Amankona assisted two goals, hit the woodwork and created about 11 chances in all.
Felix Addo
He scored a brace to inspire Elmina Sharks to their fourth consecutive victory of the season. His total contribution to team play aside his goal that unlocked Bechem United was also high. Addo won the most outstanding player of the game award.
Evans Obeng
The Berekum Chelsea attacker scored twice and had some of his shots on target saved as his side condemned Bolga All Stars to a 0-4 defeat.
