Hearts of Oak settle for 3-3 draw against Aduana Stars

Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars settled for a three all draw in an all entertaining football at the Ohene Djan ports Stadium which could compete for the game of the season

It was an action attraction in Accra as Hearts of Oak had to fight from behind on three occasions to hold Aduana Stars to a 3-3 draw on Wednesday on match day 26 of the Ghana Premier league.

Daniel Darkwa started the scoring in the 6 minute to give the visitors a good start to the game, but Wilful Cobbinah restored parity for the hosts 5 minutes later

Before Derrick Sasraku, the stalwart striker received a ball and dribbled Robin Gnagne and Vincent Atingah before he slotted it home for Aduana Stars.

Hearts of Oak after conceding the second goal took over play and started dictating the pace, yet Aduana Stars managed to hold the hosts for the first half to end in their favour.

The Phobians after the interval continued from where they left it off in the later part of the first half by dominating play in their quest to get the equaliser and with six minutes into the half Thomas Abbey controlled a ball before he scored perfectly to make the game two all.

Hearts of Oak looked like a rejuvenated side, as they dominated play and created several opportunities, but they couldn’t translate them into goals.

However, it was Aduana Stars who would find the back of the net against the run of play when Sasraku after received a pass and put Nathaniel Asamoah through to restore the lead for Aduana Stars.

Hearts of Oak rallied from behind again and scored the match needed equaliser after they capitalized on a defensive blunder by goalkeeper Stephen Adams when he failed to have his hand on the ball and Kwame Kizito got his header to it to make it 3-3
