Police commander 'fingers' Kotoko driver for fatal accident

Kotoko were gutted when their team bus carrying the playing body rammed into a stationary truck at Abepotia, near Nkawkaw, with several players sustaining severe injuries.

Speaking to Accra-based radio station Rainbow Radio, the police chief said:  ‘’I don’t know if the driver did not see the road properly because if you were following a car which was not parked but in motion and ram into it, that was unfortunate."

"I will admonish drivers to exercise restraint, drive with caution, and reduce their speed.”

The deputy Kit and Equipment Officer Kofi Asare is reported dead whiles several members of the club suffered various degrees of injuries, with coach Steve Polack believed to be in a critical condition.
