Kotoko striker sends thought-provoking message from the hospital bed

The striker took to Facebook to thank God for his life and assured fans that he will come back stronger.

Sadick Adams was rushed to the hospital during the Ghana@60 2nd leg game against Accra Hearts OfOak on Sunday.

The former U-17 star collapsed on the turf of the Baba Yara Stadium during the game and needed medical attention immediately.

After waking up at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Emergency Unit, Adams took to Facebook to thank God for his life and assured fans that he will come back stronger.

He wrote (unedited): "Thanks to the almighty Allah for another gift of life...Alhamdulilah I'm up and alive....That is always the plan, I am able to survive today but ask yourself will you be able to do so? Allah is watching us all...thanks to everyone for your support and prayers...I will bounce back stronger like never before..Still team  Allah is great,team Jah knows star..ADA99."

The game  between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak ended 0-0 but the Phobians took the trophy at stake as they won the first leg 3-1.
