On Saturday, Isaac Dogboe knocked out Cesar Juarez in the 5th round as that made the “Royal Storm” go on an amazing streak.
Dogboe has now gone on 18 fights with 18 wins without a defeat.
Ike Quartey believes Dogboe is now good enough to challenge for the WBO Super Bantamweight Titile.
“He is ready for a championship the way he fought hard in his last bout shows he is ready. From what I have seen he is ready to fight,” Ike Quartey said.
He said Dogboe’s height would not hinder him from winning any bout because he is strong mentally and physically.
“He is strong. Mike Tyson was short against other opponents but he could fight opponents. He can fight them and he is strong mentally,” he noted.
The proposed date for the fight against Magdaleno is 10th March,2018 with the venue yet to be confirmed.
