Timothy Weah, the son of former Ballon d'Or winner George, scored a hat-trick as USA's Under-17 side reached the quarter-finals of the FIFA Under-17 World Cup for the first time since 2005 after thrashing Paraguay 5-0
Timothy, who was born in New York in 2000, opted to play for the US instead of the West African country of Liberia like his father and has so far played at Under-15 and Under-17 levels.
Weah looks like a future star for USA
The youngster scored USA’s first, second and fifth goals, with the second being undoubtedly the best.
Weah, in a move that his father would’ve been proud of back in the day, received the ball on the left side and took a touch or two with his right foot before flicking an unstoppable shot beyond the goalkeeper.

The youngster is seemingly following in the footsteps of his famous dad, having signed his first professional contract with none other than Paris Saint-Germain over the summer, having previously had a trial with Chelsea back in 2013.
George played for the Parisians between 1992–1995, winning the Ligue 1 title during the 1993–94 season, as well as two Coupe de France medals.
He was also awarded the Ballon d’Or in 1995, shortly after moving to AC Milan.
