Heavy riot police as fans converge at stadium to support club

Hearts of Oak fans converge at Accra Stadium main entrance to offer support to the team with presence of riot police to enforce ban.

The Phobians have been ordered by the Appeals Committee of the FA to play two games behind closed doors after their supporters went violent in their week six duel against Wa All Stars.

But the teeming fans numbering close to 350 didn’t get despaired as they converged at the main entrance of the stadium.

There were however riot police to enforce the ban that has been placed on the Ghana Premier League leaders.

In a measure to raise funds to help the club due to the ban, the National Chapters Committee (NCC) in conjunction with the club’s management printed match coupons which at the time of filing the report the coupons are on sale at the main entrance of the Accra stadia.

“We love our club and whatever happens we will support the team. If we will not be get chance to watch no problem. But we are here to support the club to victory we will stand at the main gate to support the team and we know they will give us the three points,” NCC second vice chairperson Vicentia Deku told Pulse.com.gh

“The sale of the coupons is going on well and we know before 5pm the supporters will buy more in order for the club to get some money,” she added.
