Ex-Kotoko CEO speaks about Razak Brimah’s comments

Former CEO of Asante Kotoko, Jarvis Peprah has given his opinion on what should be done to Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Brimah.

Razak Brimah has been in the spotlight since he took to social media to hurl derogatory comments to his critics.

In the aftermath of Ghana’s 2-1 quarter-final win over DR Congo in the Africa Cup of Nations, Brimah posted a video on Facebook where he told his critics to “f**k go to hell” amid other unprintable words.

His comments sparked rage among many Ghanaians – who have called for the expulsion of the Cordoba goalie from the camp of the Black Stars.

And Jarvis Peprah – who was the CEO of Kotoko in 2005 – has also added his voice to the issue. According to him, Brimah’s comments are unacceptable and he must be sent home immediately.

He told Oman FM: “The player should not be allowed to spend one more night at the camp of the Black stars.

“With the insults rained on Ghanaians by the goalkeeper, he has no business wearing the black stars jersey again.

”If I was in charge of the black stars he would never be called to join the Black stars again."

The calls for the Black Stars goalie to be sent packing comes after Kevin-Prince Boateng was expelled from the camp of the national team in 2014, after he hurled derogatory comments on then coach Kwesi Appiah.

However, it remains to be seen if the hierarchy of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and coach Avram Grant will take any disciplinary action
