Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah has dropped striker Jordan Ayew for in-form forward Raphael Dwamena ahead of the 2019 AFCON qualifier against Ethiopia at the Baba Yara stadium on Sunday.

In post, Richard Ofori will start ahead of Felix Annan and Josepj Addo, whiles the Black Stars' defence will function around Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey, who will be partnered in central defence by in-form John Boye.

Columbus Crew defender Harrison Afful will maintain his position at right-back but coach Kwesi Appiah’s choice at left-back is a complete outer, as 1860 Munich’s Agbenyenu Lumor expected to make his debut for the Stars.

Thomas Teye Partey of Atletico Madrid will lead the midfield quartet of Stuttgart’s Ebenezer Ofori, with exciting winger Thomas Agyepong set to play his first competitive game for Ghana. Agyapong, 20, has been spectacular in training so far, receiving plaudits from several teammates including skipper Asamoah Gyan.
