This new role starts from July 12, meaning that he takes over from Nigeria’s Ibe Kachiku.

This was declared at a meeting of WAGP Committee of Ministers in Abuja, Nigeria.

He further pledged to continue the good leadership of his predecessor and asked for support from all member countries, adding that the commercialisation of the West African Gas Pipeline would be his focus as president of the Pipeline.
