When Steven Gerrard was still dreaming of Liverpool at the age of 12

Gerrard broke into the Liverpool first team in 2000, having been with them since 1998 but before then, it was just a 12 year-old’s dream to wear the Reds shirt.

As 34 year-old Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard leaves the Reds for the LA Galaxy at the end of the season; he’d be missed by the club’s fans.

Gerrard broke into the Liverpool first team in 2000, having been with them since 1998 but before then, it was just a 12 year-old’s dream to wear the Reds shirt.

The dream materialized and he stands today as one of the greatest to play in Anfield, winning two FA Cups, three League Cups, one UEFA Champions League, one UEFA Cup, and two UEFA Super Cups
