“If former President Rawlings has come out to say that he did take the money, the $2 million, it is for us to start asking questions like what happened to the money,” Mr. Agyekum said in an interview with Accra-based CITI FM.
Mr Agyekum added that Mr. Rawlings’ confession notwithstanding, he needs to disclose what the money was used for.
“How was the money accounted for because as far as I am concerned, I have never heard it being accounted for to the state and by the state and we don’t know what happened to the money was put to and whether the state was informed and accounted to,” he added.
