The award winning youngster shot to fame after he starred in his first movie, Beasts of No Nation. He played child soldier, Agu, in the African war drama, which was written and directed by Cary Fukunaga.
"Beasts of No Nation" tells a story of a young boy's resilience as his country goes through a horrific war. Shot in Ghana, it features Hollywood's Idris Elba, Ghana's Ama K. Abebrese, David Dontoh, Grace Nortey among others.
Undoubtedly, the youngster keeps soaring having won several awards with the role he played.
These include Black Film Critics Circle’s Rising Star Award, Best Young Actor at Venice Film Festival, Best Actor at Spirit Awards, Best Actor in Lead Role and Discovery of the Year at Ghana Movie Awards 2015.
