The ankle knoch that kept Andre Ayew out of the Premier League last weekend could be a huge blow to Ghana who have a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Mozambique later this month.

Swansea City caretaker boss Alan Curtis said despite Andre’s injury not being a serious one, the former Olympique Marseille player is a huge doubt for the game against his brother Jordan Ayew in the English Premier League.

Curtis also confirmed Ayew should be fine after the international break which will not be happy news for Black Stars coach Avram Grant.
