Ghana midfielder congratulates Cristiano Ronaldo on Portugal triumph

The Real Madrid star won his first major trophy with the national team on Sunday night when Eder scored in extra time to seal a 1-0 victory over France in Paris.

For the first time in his career, Cristiano Ronaldo has won an international trophy with his country, Portugal.

It looked to be a disastrous night for Ronaldo as he broke down in tears when stretchered off with a knee injury in the 25th minute, but he ended up lifting the trophy with his teammates and manager Fernando Santos.

And Ghana and Swasea midfielder Andre Ayew, congratulated Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates on achieveing such a historic feat in a tweet...
