Ex-player Isaac Eshun passes on

Isaac Eshun on 6th April passed away at Kojokrom a suburb of Takoradi, after short sickness.

He was a regular member of the Black Stars in the 1970's and had the opportunity to captain the senior national team of Ghana for a short while.

Isaac Eshun was the junior brother of John Eshun who also captained the Black Stars in the 1970's.

The former Sekondi Eleven Wise midfielder was one of the stalwart in midfield for both the 'Western Show Boys' and the Black Stars.

October last year the president of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi in the company of two other Emergency Committee members, Mr Kweku Eyiah and the Nanabanyin Eyison visited his senior brother John Eshun who has been battling ailment for several months at Takoradi when they attended the funeral of Kojo Yankah, former Western RFA chairman
