72 year old Burkinabe arrested for selling sophisticated weapons

A seventy two year old Bukinabe ,Moro Satta has been arrested at Akwatialine a suburb of Kumasi for possessing sophisticated weapons and ammunitions.

He was arrested after a search of his his residence upon a tip off.

Ashanti regional police commander DCOP Nathan Kofi Boakye addressing the press today said when the suspect's bedroom was searched "ammunitions for AK some with traser and  some without trasers as well as ammunition  for G3 .."

He said preliminary investigations show that Moro Satta sold some of the weapons both locally and to people outside of Ghana.

The police also said they have arrested four armed robbers who buy weapons from Moro Satta for their robberies.
