Ghana winger set for Mozambique showdown

Ghana midfielder Christian Atsu is set to arrive in Ghana for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Mozambique on Thursday.

Atsu was invited by coach Avram Grant to play against Mozambique on 24 of this month in Accra before travelling to Maputo for the second leg on the 27.

Atsu recently returned to full fitness at club level and is expected to arrive in Ghana on Monday ahead of the game on Thursday.

Atsu has had a difficult season at club level but has been one of the consistent players for Ghana.
