The ranking was based on key performance indicators like mentions, engagements and following or likes on various social media platforms.

According to the report, Hearts of Oak is the most followed club in Ghana boasting a total of 93,145 followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The Phobians are closely followed by rivals Asante Kotoko who also command a total following of 69,255, with Dreams FC coming third.
