Elmina Sharks opened the 2015-16 season with a 2-1 win against King Faisal, a game the flag bearer of PPP, who happens to be the owner of the club was at the stadium to watch his side put up a poor show, despite the victory.
Last season Elmina Sharks finished 2nd to Edusua Dwarfs, hence missed out on the Ghana Premier League, so are determined to top the zone this time around and book a historic promotion to the topflight league.
Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, who was upset with Elmina Sharks’ poor display against King Faisal has warned the technical team of his club to propel the club to the top of league table, else lose their jobs.
“I am apologizing to the supporters who came to see us play against King Faisal. The first half was a bit okay, but I was surprised with their performance in the second half. I don’t know if the players who played the second half were old men?
“Elmina Sharks are very unique in Ghana. The players get everything they need. We pay them their allowances and bonuses.
“The technical team should sit up, either than that I will not let the season end, before they pack their things to wherever they came from. When the first round ends, I want to see Elmina Sharks on top of our zone,” he told Happy FM.
