Bawumia orders furniture for deprived school

Five hundred (500) students of Kperisi M.A. Primary School  in Wa will benefit from free furniture which is being provided by the Vice Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

In a post on his Facebook page on Friday, Dr. Bawumia indicated that he was moved to make the donation following media reports which highlighted the deplorable conditions under which the pupils in the school were studying.

"I visited the Kperisi M.A. Primary School this morning following reports on conditions in the school. I have ordered school furniture for 500 students in the school," his post read.

The headmistress of the school, Rosina Diedong lamented that the situation is affecting the health of the students as they continually complain of waist pains.

The NPP Vice Presidential candidate visited the school on Friday while on his way to the Wa East Constituency for a tour.
