The NDC’s Parliamentary nominee of the Ningo Prampram constituency Sam George has denied media reports that there is a sore relationship between himself and the traditional council in the area.
He accused his NPP counterpart of telling lies about his relationship anytime he mounts a campaign platform.
He said he has a good relationship with the traditional authorities and argued that if he had a sore relationship with the leaders, the constituents would not have come out in their numbers to support him during his campaign launch.
He said that despite the propaganda by the NPP in the constituency, he is not perturbed because the electorates have witnessed massive development under the current NDC Member of Parliament (MP) E.T Mensah. These developments he argued would let the electorates vote for him.
Sam George also denied any rift between himself and his predecessor E.T Mensah.
“ET only contested me in the primaries to see if I had learnt well all the things he taught me. He realised I was a good student after I won the party primaries. And I know he is proud of me.”
