Be careful of Rawlings - Lecturer warns Akufo-Addo

A Lecturer at the University of Education Winneba Kumasi Campus, Yarhans Arthur has warned the president, Nana Akufo-Addo to be careful of his dealings with former President Jerry John Rawlings and elements within his own governing party.

According to the lecturer, the praises showered him by Rawlings are fake and the earlier the president notices that the better it will be for him and his government.

“Today, my founder Rawlings and NPP members have been hailing him, that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is one of the honest men… But the same people who earlier said Rawlings was demon are saying different things about him today” he advised.

He further argued that the people surrounding who were then surrounding the former president, John Mahama contributed to the party’s defeat in the 2016 elections and hence the current president must be cautious about the people around him.

“Normally, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo should be very careful because the same people around him will champion his defeat” the Lecturer claimed

“I have always said that President Mahama is not our problem but the people who were surrounding him at the time”, Mr.Yarhans Arthur told the host of Abusua Nkommo, Kwame Adinkra.
