The Porcupine Warriors are lying at the bottom of the Ghana league for the first time in their history after 6 games.

David Duncan's charges have had a poor start to the Ghana league and went 4 games without a win and in the end equaled their poorest league campaign after 4 games in 1974.

Although, Kotoko managed to fetch a win on match day 5 at home against Hasaacas, they failed to keep the momentum by slipping against Aduana Stars on match day 6.

The loss to Aduana Stars has sent the Porcupine Warriors to 16th position on the league log, a situation that has never occurred to them in their club history, after 6 league games played.

This has cost David Duncan his job, as the management committee of the club has asked him to step aside for his assistant coach Michael Osei to take over.

Kotoko’s poor start to the league this season after match day 6 has beaten that of 1974 when the Porcupine Warriors were pushed to 13th place in the 14-club league that season, following 6 league games played.
