Asamoah Gyan returns to training after recent injury

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has made his first appearance at training after pulling out injured during Ghana's game against Egypt.

The striker's return to training will be a welcome news for coach Avram Grant as he comes up against a strong DR Congo team.

Gyan has been undergoing placenta treatment with Mariana Kovacevic at the team camp in Oyem.

Gyan suffered a thigh injury on Wednesday in their last group D game against Egypt and there is fear about his availability for the DR Congo duel.
