The wife of the deceased, Rosemond Alebey told Accra-based Adom FM that the land guards joined the trotro bus and refused to pay the lorry fare.

She said that her husband attempted collecting the money but the land guard got offended and lynched him to death.
Meanwhile the son of the deceased, Emmanuel Dawson has blamed the Kasoa police for his father’s death.

He said that as soon as the land guards started misbehaving, he alerted the Kasoa Police station but they did not show up.
