Before the interval Persib Bandung have had a goal scored by Raphael Maitimo disallowed in the 45th minute, so Essien's goal should have put them in the driving seat had both not have been disallowed.

The decisions by the referee did not go down well with the management of Persib who have lodge a protest.

The defeat sinks Persib down on the League table as they drop to 11th on the log.
