Liberty Youth goalkeeper dies in a football match

Juvenile goalkeeper, Issaka Mohammed of local  division three side Liberty Youth, has passed away after crashing head-on with a striker during a football match on Friday.

The 18-year-old was reported to be playing in a game on Friday with a select side at the Acquinas Park during which he was involved in a collision with an opponent.

Issaka was rushed to the Police Hospital who later referred him to the 37 Military Hospital where he passed away early Sunday morning.

Pulse Sports understands Issaka who was popularly known as "Cech" was buried on Sunday in line with Islamic custom.
