E.T. Mensah supporters assault Sam George

Some supporters of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, E.T. Mensah have allegedly assaulted Sam George.

He had earlier complained that his name has been deleted from the party’s register in the Ningo Prampram constituency.

Addressing the press after the incident, Sam George asked E.T. Mensah to "behave like an old man."

According to him, E.T. Mensah should grow up and stop the unnecessary violence.

He also asked his supporters to remain calm.

Sam George is yet to lodge a formal complaint with the Police.

Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission has put on hold the election in the constituency following complaints by Sam George that over 3,000 names have been deleted from the NDC’s Ningo Prampram voters’ register.
