“Look at what is happening in Cote D’ Ivoire, in the last five years there has been a consistent growth...Kufuor left us in an economy that was growing at 8 nearly 9 percent and we are barely making 4 percent now, our economy is contracting not expanding and that is why there are no jobs for people,” he said.

Nana Addo further said "everything is in disarray," citing slow growth in agriculture, manufacturing, employment and reduction of import to back his claims.

“We are all witnessing what is happening in Ghana, things are not going well. All the things Kufuor did without a single drop of oil has been ruined by this government.

“Everything is in disarray, agriculture is not growing, manufacturing is in decline, and employment, reduction of imports into our country…our currency is weak, our economy is in serious crisis and he [Mahama] thinks he is doing well.
