Ghana went to the polls to vote for the next president and set of parliamentarians on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.
According to the Electoral Commission, 49% of eligible voters turned up to vote for their next president and parliamentarians for the next four years.
The EC introduced an electronic system for the 2016 Election but said the process was compromised and therefore the need for manual verification.
All figures and pink sheets must be submitted to the EC at the headquarters with representatives of the various political parties in the collation room.
The figures are signed by the representatives and announced by the EC to complete the process.
