The Phobians welcomed the Bekwai based club in a much talked 2015/16 Ghana premier league opener as the game was Kenichi Yatshuahsi’s first ever top-flight match.

Hearts of Oak despite dominating play in the first half failed to score until Samuel Yeboah who was introduced in the second half and he scored the match winning goal with seven minutes to full time.

And the hero of the day in an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh said he is happy to score his debut premier league goal for the Phobians adding that he wants to score more in order to make the fans happy.

“I must confess, I was very happy to score my first league goal for the club, it was a beautiful moment for me. Edubaise in the game defended well but we were focused and took the three points which is the most important thing,” Yeboah told Pulse.com.gh.

He added: “My wish this season is to score more goals for the club and also win games as well in order to make the fans happy. In the game the fans came in their numbers to support us to victory and we won the game for them. What I want to say is they shouldn’t be reluctant, they should support us and we will never disgrace them.”

Samuel Yeboah joined the Phobians on the transfer deadline-day from relegated premier league side Heart of Lions.
