Meanwhile, the Chief Justice Sophia Akuffo has promised to establish a special court to prosecute those who fail to pay their TV license fee.

She believes that the move will ensure that Ghanaians adhere to the regulations regarding the payment of the TV license fee.

The Chief Justice also pointed out that the state broadcaster will benefit immensely when the special court is established.

Regulations on payment of TV license indicates that anyone with the set is expected to pay 36 cedis a year, but 60 cedis for two or more.
